Is Lapland just for kids?

Yes ok, everyone knows that Lapland is the home of Father Christmas who lives there all year round, busily making toys with his elves ready for Rudolph to transport him off into cyber-space on Christmas Eve, visiting millions of children awaiting his arrival with eager anticipation blah, blah, blah... However did you know that you don’t have to be a child to enjoy a magical trip to Lapland?

Fun activities for adults

Lapland activities for adultsWhy not try a fun filled snowmobile safari, where you can lose yourself speeding across open snowfields, through ice filled woodlands and over frozen lakes?

Or why not try your hand at driving a husky dog sled across this breathtaking open wilderness or alternatively just sit back and enjoy a leisurely sleigh ride pulled by reindeer through this stunning landscape?

Beginner and Intermediate skiers can enjoy some of the downhill pistes on offer, while those looking for a slightly more tranquil experience may opt for the age-old sport of snow-shoeing.

Adrenaline junkies will appreciate the ice driving on the exciting snow and ice-driving circuits and if that is not enough to get your heart pumping, then tobogganing down the floodlit runs will be sure to.

Relaxation on your Lapland holiday

For those in need of a little relaxation, many of the hotels offer a full pampering service in their spa complexes. You can also enjoy a well earned glass of traditional vodka, whilst marveling at the Northern lights.

Santa Claus is definitely a major attraction but clearly, there is so much more that this beautiful Winter Wonderland has to offer!
