Our new one night adventure to Luosto is sure to garner the imagination as we combine planes, steam train and buses along with other unique forms of transport such as snowmobiles, reindeers and huskies to bring you this special tour "All Aboard the Arctic Express" in search of Santa Claus. One can just picture the excitement as we embark upon Santa's very own mail room train, who knows who could be on board today? Day 1: We depart our chosen airport directly to Rovaniemi. Where possible, aircraft with onboard video entertainment will be provided. Subject to crew co-operation there will be a traditional Christmas sing-along on board. As we slip through the Arctic Wilderness we wonder what experiences might unfold before our very eyes. For sure this is a very special steam train, full of surprises. Lets wait and see how our imagination might become reality. We know that we are headed somewhere to destinations we know not where, even if our ticket does not provide that clue. But to a destination we surely go... Upon arrival is Santa waiting? No, this is only the end of the line and our experience continues by bus. Further, further into the Arctic darkness we will drive along the roads where the only traffic we may encounter could be Santa's very own reindeer before arriving in Luosto, a small village known to be one of Santa's favourite locations. Here we will secure sustenance, warm overclothing and boots on loan and beds in our chosen accommodation. Day 2: Following a substantial breakfast we are about to embark to our bus to find Santa Claus. During our activity period we will enjoy reindeer rides and husky rides and participate in snowmobiling with snowmobiles for both children and adults alike. Have no fear, we will find Santa. The conductor assured us of this fact and we do know that Santa never disappoints children who have travelled so far to see him. Before we know it we are enjoying a last meal in Luosto before returning to Rovaniemi for return flight to the Free Special Souvenirs Free Souvenir CD Throughout your stay, you and your children will have the opportunity to sing along to the Arctic Express song. As a lasting memory, on your departure from Lapland, we provide one CD per booking form. Free Souvenir DVD As a special memory of you visit to Lapland you will receive a free souvenir DVD (one per booking form) consisting of general footage of Lapland. The highlight will be the footage of your personal visit to Santa, which will be included within your personal copy providing a treasured memory of your visit. |
