Lapland Lullaby

Join us on this fabulous 4 day winter adventure in 'Search of Father Christmas' deep within the Lappish Fells. Experience the various means of transport such as husky, reindeer and snowmobile rides as well as some classic simple snow games. Meet Santa's Special Elves who may lead us to
Santa, but watch out . . . Tricky Dicky is always trying to lead us onto the wrong path .

Day 1:

It's difficult to believe, but the day has actually arrived that we depart for Lapland. Packing over and having arrived at the airport, check in is completed for our destination deep in the fells of Lapland and our introduction to this land of make believe. Following our arrival we transfer to Salla or Olos and you are accommodated in hotel rooms, bungalows, apartments or cabins in accordance with your wishes. Already the feeling of this special Christmas land engulfs us as we contemplate finding Santa Claus. Overgarments and boots will be allocated to keep you warm. Welcome evening dinner in the restaurant..

Day 2:

This surely must be a magical land! 9am and it's still dark outside, yet the reflection from the snow is such that we can see easily enough.
After a fortifying Finnish breakfast it's time to consider the activities of the
day. What does our winter wonderland offer as we search for Santa...? Husky rides, sometimes even the opportunity of husky mushing. Reindeer rides and snowmobiling over prepared tracts. We may even spot Speedy Sam rushing through the woods to finish the last preparations for Christmas
Day! Lunch will be taken at an outside setting and dinner will be served
in your hotel restaurant.

Day 3:

Following a hearty breakfast, skidoos, reindeer and huskies will once again be used as our search continues. Make sure you keep an eye out for Santa's Special Elves as they are sure to help us on our Search for Santa Claus. Fortunately Father Christmas is known never to disappoint children taking the time and trouble to come to his homeland to visit him and we can therefore be certain of meeting him sometime during today for that very special encounter. Lunch will be taken at an outside location and enjoy a farewell dinner in the hotel restaurant this evening.

Day 4:

Enjoy relaxed snow based activities for your final morning. Lunch will be taken in the hotel and an opportunity provided to buy some traditional souvenirs en route to the airport before joining your return flight to the United Kingdom.

On leaving Lapland you will receive a selection of souvenir licences to commemorate your visit to Lapland. These will include an Arctic Circle crossing certificate and licences covering you activities with reindeers, huskies and snowmobiles.

As a special memory of your visit to Lapland you will receive a free souvenir DVD (one pre booking form) consisting of general footage of Lapland. The highlight will be the footage of your personal visit to Santa, which will be included within your personal copy providing a treasured memory of your visit.

Throughout your stay, you and your children will have the opportunity to sing along to our own very special song ' In Search of Santa and His Elves'. As a lasting memory, on your departure from Lapland, we provide one CD per booking form.
