Prices and Departure Dates

At last the elves have revealed the location of the original Post Office of Santa Claus at Vaattunki in a forested and riverside setting above the Arctic Circle. In the opinion of our director this is one of the most beautiful natural day tour settings that can be imagined here in Lapland, and we stress this destination is unconnected with the Arctic Circle Post Office location which forms part of the Arctic Circle shopping complex just North of Rovaniemi.

This day will evoke memories of brass counters, sealing wax, pigeon holes and Santa’s original star navigation system. Here at his original post office location he continues to handle letters from all over the world with the assistance of his elves and looks forward to welcoming you on this auspicious occasion.

Your day begins with a flight from your local airport to Lapland.
Breakfast will be served during your flight and where possible aircraft equipped with video entertainment systems will be used. A Christmas sing along may be organised subject to crew cooperation.
Following your arrival transportation will be provided to this secret location. To protect all members of the group from the cold appropriate Arctic clothing consisting of an all in one suit and boots on loan for the day has been arranged.
The elves have previously advised us that during December Santa may be seen regularly close to this location supervising the handling of some of his present requests and that he will always spare time to meet with visitors to his Arctic Homeland. The beauty of this location is hard to contemplate. Not only is it totally un commercialised with only 1 small area where souvenirs can be obtained, traditional lantern style lighting combined with attractive ice lights ensure the location exudes a magical air. The range of activities offered ensures a fun day will be had by all. Reindeer Rides, Husky rides, snowmobile rides for both adults and children, even snowmobile and sleigh rides are available together with the more simple fun of a tobogganing slope. Santa may be found on an island reached by a wooden
bridge over a frozen or semi frozen river. Naturally you have to find the correct path but even this acts to enhance the mystery. Santa will of course be happy to meet individual families during your stay and will of course have gifts for all children aged between 2 and 11 inclusive. Don’t forget to visit the old post office where you can meet with Santa’s Post Office Elves and learn how the old style of letter collection has been combined with some of Santa’s own special magic . Naturally there’s the opportunity to purchase stamps and mail your own Christmas Cards if you so wish.
You may have lunch in a traditional wooden restaurant where a range of choice, albeit simple in nature due to the restaurant’s wilderness location will be available. Hot soups, Pasta, Baked Potatoes or similar plus a simple dessert will be offered with service continuously throughout the stay at this location. Sadly as the evening approaches it will soon be time to bid farewell to Santa Claus, departing with many happy memories of this very special day. During your homeward flight dinner will be served.
