Lapland Dream

It was certainly a dream! The question was to what degree it was reality. Flying from our chosen airport, we made our way to Lapland, Where upon arrival we were equipped with warm over clothing and boots and whisked away to a beautiful forested location. Our destination today is one of Santa Claus's many homes within the region.

The lighting at this location is very special indeed, casting a soft glow upon many activities for our enjoyment. Knowing that visitors were expected Santa had ensured that we would be able to enjoy his well known forms of arctic transportation. His very own reindeer are available so we could enjoy a reindeer ride and the huskies are there to power us on an exhilarating husky run. Of course snowmobiles for both adults and children and sleighs are also available to enable us to enjoy the more modern forms of arctic transportation.

It is known that Santa has many assistants to ensure that children all over the world receive their presents. Here, at this location you will meet some of his very special workshop elves. The children are often amazed that they are taller than Santa's workshop elves, who often work in the underground locations and rarely have the chance to meet, or see his many visitors, Here, however, Santa makes an exception and permits one to meet some of his elves in their working environment. You will see then enjoy their play with some fun machines and they may have time to interact with their guests on these special occasions.

In this exclusive setting a meal will be provided, though simple nature with nevertheless be very tasty in this environment. A sample menu would be hot soup, baked potatoes with a choice of meat or vegetarian filling and a desert of pancakes and jam. The highlight of any Lapland visit must be your individual family audience with Father Christmas. This will be your child(ren)'s opportunity to discuss Christmas wishes and perhaps to bring and present a mince pie in person to the great man himself. The awe and excitement that this personal visit brings is full of emotion and certain to evoke memories for years to come. There’s always time for more fun in the snow using toboggans, the opportunity for family snowball fights and other crazy snow based activities before we must repair to the airport for our homeward flight during which dinner will be served. For our flights, subject to availability, we use aircraft with on-board video entertainment. A Christmas sing along may be organised subject to crew co-operation.
