Hotel Yllashumina , Ylläs

Small, friendly and attractive, this family-run hotel offers cosy cabin rooms and a restaurant renowned for good food.

Family owned by Tovi Quist, a one time Olympic skier, and his wife Meeri, the hotel is a unique log cabin complex with a colony of cabins built in original Finnish style huddled around a central building housing a restaurant, sitting room and bar. Outdoor facilities at the hotel include tobogganing and cross-country skiing.

ACCOMMODATION

The hotel’s non-smoking rooms are small, cosy cabins situated close to the main building and restaurant. Each cabin has 4 beds, 2 of which are on an upper gallery, private WC/shower, telephone, radio, hair dryer and drying cupboard. Amongst the group of cabins are two saunas, perfect for relaxing in at the end of the day. Apartments sleeping 5-6 people with private sauna are also available. These are situated approximately 250 metre’s walk away from the main hotel building.
